    • Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve the quality of service as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development.
    • Ability to work in and contribute positively to a team.

    Working Hours

    Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

    Weekend Shifts

    Weekend shifts will be required throughout the year. Likely weekend frequency would be one weekend every 4-6 weeks

    Close to Mount Druitt Train Station with various bus routes. Located between the M4 and M7.

    Orientation Process

    Both Hospital and Department Orientation will be provided.

    Education Programs

    Weekly inservices at Blacktown Hospital. Regular sub-specialty inservices.

    Social Activities

    Local squash courts, swimming pool close by, 1 kilometre running track.

    Support Mechanisms

    Clinical Supervision is provided throughout allocation year.

    Annual Leave Policy

    Access to Annual Leave is negotiable. New Graduates are encouraged to contact the Head of Department to request accrued AL and ADOs in line with other members of staff. Approval of leave will be based on service demand and leave already approved across the team.
