Working hours

8.00 am - 4.30 pm Monday - Friday

Weekend shifts

Weekend service roster:

Current roster involves staff covering an 8 hour shift (Sat or Sun) with subsequent RDO during the associated two week pay period.

Currently equates to 1 weekend shift approximately every 4-5 weeks.

Evening shifts

No set evening shift.

FYG will partake in the 24 hour on call service on rostered basis.




Orientation Process

All staff members participate in the Hospitals orientation process including online orientation and face to face sessions.

A comprehensive Physiotherapy specific orientation programme occurs in the first week of duty, including a lecture, practical and Sim programme.

All new graduates then undergo a thorough and individualised orientation into ICU, conducted over a period of two weeks to ensure competence in the ICU unit.
